A vibrant Seppa
Seppa name has been named in wrong doings but very few of us know, seppa had produced many firsts in our state. Very few know that hospitality of suppliant cannot be compared in terms of any monetary. Every few knows it is one of the many and most beautiful tourism spot yet to be recognised tamed and publicised.
It’s been 25+ years old. Many leaders, administers, beaurucrates, officers came and went came and went. Out of this we have many honey mouthed politicians giving us dreams but the reality is Seppa has not yet seen the 21st century. She is still in the realm of abject poverty, under development.
Still people cry for light, still people cry for good roads, good governance and so list goes on. And the most pathetic is health sector. I may be wrong in saying that heath sector is the worst but Iam sure out many worst this is not less either.
As the saying goes. “If wealth is lost, nothing is lost.
If Heath is lost something is lost
If Character is lost everything is lost”
And we are losing two out of three. Heath and Character. And we have nothing with us to boost of.
I am writing this not because Iam a crusader nor I am a political aspirant.
I write here as a child, who had loss his mother in a hospital unattended. Iam writing this as a brother who lost his sister infected with mere malaria.
Iam here writing as a son of this soil to give change. To ignite our minds and make Seppa a vibrant place.
We are too depended on government; don’t forget you have already taken so some amount for the politicians. It’s their time to balance their bank accounts.
Some thing we can do together
• Donation for renovation of hospitals, if not all at least the Seppa.
• Maintenance of hospital.[ there are many unemployed youths give them change as job. Politically entered servicemen have too many guts because they paid for that!]
• Strict Vigilance on the workers.[ Dare removing those you are not doing their jobs, representation for any MLA’s must be fought thoroughly]
• 24*7 Ambulance Services [ I doubt if there is well equipped Ambulance either]
• Availability of Medicine supplied by Government. [ This is too much but there is a hope]
• Checking the credibility of all clinic Laboratories in Seppa [Please note *Seppa labs can enter to genius world record for testing +ve results on Mixed malaria, and when tested here @ itanager its –ve.]
“It seems impossible; Give it a try! At least a life may be saved because of your work”
[Keeping a mission Statement: - ‘by 2016 Clean and vibrant Seppa’.]
These are few ideas for many NGO’s with no ideas. I wish if our learned guys ponder on this. Pinning hopes on EKSCWO and AEKSU [but we are losing hope in student Unions]!
